Spring 2025
This project proposes architecture as an improvised civic
archaeology. It is a study of how small, constructed events can accumulate into
places of social, bodily, and symbolic intensity.
Through the conceptualization of Conversational Form,
the parks project rejects the singular master image and instead builds a world from
fragments: a corner that becomes a dining area, a platform that becomes a
library, two walls that become a chapel, a stone that becomes a bathroom.
The project’s broader
claim is that architecture does not need to begin with abstraction. It can
begin with weight, touch, use, memory, and the stubborn intelligence of things
placed beside one another. The project searches for an architecture that feels
discovered rather than imposed—an architecture where every element carries the
trace of a decision, every decision remains in conversation with the next, and
the final work preserves the visible struggle of becoming.
